A bleeding letter on drug abuse in New Jersey

I still cannot forget that date when I checked by e-mail. Being a junior editor of a highly reputed crime magazine based in New Jersey, I receive loads of mails and information from around the globe. However, that mail just overwhelmed by heart and asked me questions about my social responsibility and concerns of an up going global issue of drug abuse. It was an email from Mr. Mathews living in a nearby location at New Jersey. The letter shocked me through out. It was about the circum stances and scenarios turning to a disaster which destroyed the entire family of Mr. Mathews. The letter begins with a small description on his son John who was brilliant in his studies from his school years and was
A bleeding letter on drug abuse in New Jersey1 A bleeding letter on drug abuse in New Jerseyconsidered as a bright feature by many teachers. He had won many numerous world class competitions and words of appreciations from its class mates, teachers. He was a punctual, honest and intelligent student always doing well in all fronts of studies and other areas. However, 4 years back he got in touch with some notorious anti social elements and got struck in the deathly jaws of drug usage like Cocaine, alcohol, and other poisonous drugs.

As I curiously scrolled down, my heart broke into many tears. Due to excess usage, the bright student started conducting stealing money from house and other resources to buy drugs. Once, he eloped for at least 7 days only to get caught by police officials during a serious plan to kill few bureaucrats of New Jersey. He was sentenced to custody and later to a drug rehab centre to improve its situation and bring life. After a hard work from the rehab centre and encouraging family support, the youth recovered and started applying for jobs to begin his career. However, due to police records his file was always rejected despite of its good marks and sound knowledge. The letter pleaded me to bring awareness in the New Jersey to remove these ill causes. Immediately, I drafted a story adding my points and details like counseling, our responsibility to my boss and requested god to give me the strength and chance to help Mr. Mathews. Next day, I smiled as I received a reply from my boss to go forward and publish a stunning story like this to bring the awareness and remove the evil roots of drug abuse.

With god grace, Mr. Mathews got a thunderous support from people of New Jersey and finally Jon succeeded in getting a suitable job as per his caliber.

What I really want to throw a light here is the fact that it is not just about the drug addicts should get a punishment; the truth lies to track the evil toots of drug dealers and punish them with severity and bring life and emery to youth of New Jersey.
